The star to the conductors?

It must be "Topsy Turvy Day." My union secretary just sent me a link to a blog where a celebrity writes about his experience with Metro North conductors.

I make a very similar announcement daily on my train: "Cars 1 and 2 will be the only cars opening in Fremont/Centerville" (Due to a short platform). To complicate things even more, Berkeley passengers need to be in either Car 2 or 4, just in case the train makes the station stop on the outer of the two main tracks at the station (it has an unusual platform configuration). I and my assistant conductor try to make a point of informing affected passengers of this as we collect their tickets, as well as indicate which direction the proper cars are located. By the way, Mr. Walken is one of my favorite actors.
