A typical day on Metro North
This video should be shown as part of conductor training at Metro North. Conductor John (my 2nd cousin) shows an abundance of patience and humor when dealing with a fare beater who says she left her ticket on the seat and that someone must have taken it (this seems to be a very popular ploy lately). Kudos to you John!
The closing line of the video is CLASSIC!

I like the way he kept biting the bill of his hat. I imagine that was to keep himself from strangling her.

The crazy people on trains evolve with the times. My Dad was finishing up his career on PRR/PC/CR/ATK (take your pick!)around the time DERAILED started. This little vignette reminds me of many stories he brought home from time to time.
Wow. What a crazy old broad. If I wsa the Conductor I do not think I would be able to spend that kind of time or patience. But knowing John from the Waterbury Branch, he has a special sense of humor when it comes to dealing with those kind of people.
